First time robot lawn buyer
So far the X4 is saving me a lot of time and energy cutting my grass. I used to spend 3-4 hours a week cutting my grass in the hot sun. Now I only spend an hour every two weeks trimming and edging the lawn. Definitely worth the investment. Cut quality is a little less desirable if you only cut once, it misses or leaves some single strands of grass all over and/or misses spots. But if you cut multiple times, it will clean it up. I really like how the X4 changes directions each cut cycle and look forward to the better healthier grass look that should come over time. All in all, a great buy to save time and money.

Loving the x450
I've been running mine for a couple of weeks and now it easily handles 2 acres. Mapping was simple. I set up the homebase about 6 feet from the side of the house, screwed it into the ground with the screw stakes and then entered the remote control map function, and walked behind it to map out my boundary. It's been mowing ever since. We live in the Texas hill country so the mowing area is a mixture of weeds, but the mower seems to handle it all well. Now the mower is set to run every day and keeps it at 2 inches.

Great mower - complicated setup
Once the X4 is set up, it actually does a great job. If you're not tech savvy, plan on hiring a handyman or enlisting a friend's help. Also, don't forget to set up channels between your zones or the mower won't know to complete the entire yard. Once you get past the headache of set up it actually does a great job mowing.

I just got this mower last week. Massive box! Got the Mow Gate as well. I am coming from Husqvarna mowers and the mapping was a fair amount different, however it is much easier than my previous mowers. What used to take my Husqvarna 430X and 415X a day and a half to mow my front and back yard now takes about 4 hrs. The Mow Gate works flawlessly so far. The mower is built well. Charging is fairly quick. Very pleased so far. Much much better than my previous mowers.

We have had this mower for over a month now. I now have it mowing three different zones that is roughly 1.2 acres. Some of the area has a very steep slope — so steep you have to be very careful on a riding mower not to tip over. The X4 is handling the slope easily. It's saving me easily 5 hours a week of mowing. Great Product, software map lock sucks
This thing does a fantastic job cutting our rugged terrain and making perfect lines. I also love having it cut at night to not interrupt our kids and chase away the deer. Minus 2 stars as it can cut the map locked 1.2 acre max in ~19 hours but I can't extend it to finish the remaining 0.25 acres while it sits for the rest of the week.

Very complex lot-success!
My lot is a lake front lot with steep, oddly shaped mowing zones that are separated by 10' tall retaining walls. Zone 1 was pretty easy to set up, and after coms with customer service we deployed the antenna part of the system and Navimow pushed out a firmware update to help as they had promised. She runs great now! I can't say enough about their customer service — waaaaay different experience than their higher priced competitor.
